Palma de Mallorca tops the list of the 50 best cities on the planet to live in. The annual ranking by the Sunday Times hoists the Mallorcan capital to first place counting criteria such as environment, climate and quality of life,  close to Es Trenc, a beach with Caribbean air, the luxurious Port of Andratx and the mountainous area of Deià.

As the journalist puts it, Palma de Mallorca is “a small city which has everything, situated on a lovely island.”

This puts the island capital ahead of major cities such as 2. Toronto (Canada), 3. Auckland (New Zealand), 4. Hoi An (Vietnam) and 5 Berlin (Germany) which are among the top five places to live.
